2 .Avoid blocking water in scupper drains in case you live in an apartment

In case you live in an apartment, then for you to avoid cases where mosquitoes will multiply in your house you need to allow water flow freely in the drainage systems. If possible you should make an effort and check on the scupper drains and ensure there is no stagnant water collected. In case there is any debris in the drainage system that can end up making rain water stagnate for some time then you should remove them immediately.

For you to avoid cases where you will be inconvenienced by the breeding of mosquito on the collected water you need to check on the plates regularly and drain all the water that may have collected in order to prevent aedes mosquitoes from breeding.

Soil that is compact will tend to absorb less water. For you to make the soil that is supporting your pot plants to absorb more water you need to loosen it. While loosening the soil you should be careful not to damage the plants because too much shaking of the soil can lead to damaging their roots.

7. Cover bamboo pole holders after using them in your home

There are cases where you can use bamboo pole holders in your home. In such a case you should ensure you cover the holders and ensure they do not collect any water.
